Mel and Scott came to me after taking over an old local Café, and wanted to create a new an exciting logo design for the business. Serving freshly cooked meals with locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce, the new business owners wanted to appeal to a larger, more modern demographic

The new logo design featured a hand drawn carrot and using a fork to create a knife and fork place setting. As a carrot is widely used in meals, cakes, soups and juices, it doesn’t pigeonhole the cafe as only catering to one area. This  may turn away the existing clientele the original cafe had built up over many decades.

The stamp featuring the map of Tasmania, pays homage to the locally sourced produce, and more symbolises a vegetable crate stamp.

The project also included new window and awning signage.
